CROCHET PATTERN SPIDER COASTER

Surprise your guests this Halloween with this funny squashed spider coaster pattern! A quick and quirky beginner-friendly project for your coffee breaks.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

This crochet pattern allows you to make the spider coaster shown in the photos, featuring a round body, two yellow eyes and eight black legs.

The design creates a fun visual effect: when you place your mug on top, the spider looks as though it has been squashed underneath it.

The spider’s body is crocheted in the round and finished with a reverse single crochet edging, which helps create the neat shape and contributes to the squashed spider effect.

The eight legs are crocheted separately and sewn onto the body. The pattern also includes a helpful tip for creating a bent-leg effect.
