Solidarity Socks

This striped, toe-up gusset and heel flap sock is knit in colors of the Ukrainian flag, with the Ukrainian Coat of Arms at the toe and sunflower border ringing the top of the sock. Proudly wear these socks in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

These socks are worked in the round, from the toe to the cuff. The pattern includes a written description of the colorwork as well as charts. The stranded colorwork sections are knit with a larger needle than the toe, striped sections, heel and cuff, allowing for more stretch. Tips and tricks are included on how to prevent the colorwork from being too tight and how to avoid jogs in the stripe section.

The sock features a well-fitting gusset and slip-stitch heel flap that does not require picking up of stitches.
