RICE Raffia storage baskets and storage houses are some of the very first products created at RICE – and we are still huge fans.

All Raffia products are handmade from a fantastic natural material – therefore, no two baskets are ever exactly alike, and it is important to know this before purchasing. Raffia fibres come from palm leaves and originate from Madagascar where the whole story of RICE began.

The products are made with heart they are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar, where production contributes to better and more resources for the towns’ residents.
