Snowflakes dust themselves gently across the landscape as the outdoors become quietly whitewashed. The fields in front of the house have turned a stippled golden hay color; the leaves on the ground are etched with stark porcelain frost edges. Smoke drifts lazily from the chimney and hovers over the house before dissipating. A warm golden glow emanates from the windows, and warmth is found as winter sings her sweet song & blankets the year gone past.
