Monster Child’s Sweater

All around the world there are legends and stories of monsters. This adorable little fellow knitted on the front of this sweater is not too frightening and could become your child’s best friend. A sweater to wear and wear again. It is fun to watch the monster appear as you knit each row.

Pattern is for ages 2-7 years

YARN Any Double Knitting (8 ply) yarn can be used so long as it gives the same tension as below. This round necked sweater as shown is knitted in Sirdar Snuggly DK

Tension 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking (stockinette) stitch

The pattern includes colour coded sizes for ages from 2 to 7 years and a large full-page coloured intarsia chart for the Monster.
