Irelande Scarf

This snuggly, oversized scarf has a great ridged texture, quick and easy – every other row is knit!

This one is particularly well-suited to men with the simple texture and combination of wooly and soft textures.

The featured yarns allow for many color combinations – solid or a two/three color marl. Easily substitute any natural fiber aran weight yarn.

Yarn: A 2 (3, 3) skeins Cascade Yarns 220 Worsted (220yds/200m, 3.5oz/100g, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool) 2429 Irelande

B 2 (3, 3) skeins Cascade Yarns Alpaca Lace (437yds/400m, 1.75oz/50g, 100% Baby Alpaca) 1429 Icelander

Needles: US 10 (6mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4/10cm in stockinette holding 1 strand of A and 2 strands of B together
