Interconnected

This beautiful airy shawl was inspired by my recent trip home to visit my family after almost 3 years. The lacy sections represent the interconnectedness of our rich multicultural heritage and the garter sections represent the strength of our bonds, regardless of time and distance.

An easy to memorize lace pattern and the repetitiveness of garter bands will have this shawl flying off your needles.

Yarn: Approx 500 yds of fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in Yarn Love Yarn, Amy March Fingering, Colorway: Stargazing. 100% SW Merino.
