Holliston Tee

This summer tee, knit in stockinette and punctuated with garter blocks that increase in density from the hem to the flattering V- neck, is casual and comfortable. A simple silhouette and garter stitch neck and armhole edges that are knit along with the body make this a relaxing project – as easy to knit as it is to wear.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust – 30 (36, 41, 47)(52, 58, 63)”. Intended to be worn with 2-4″ of ease.

YARN: 650 (775, 925, 1075)(1220, 1405, 1575) yds sport or fingering weight cotton or cotton/linen blend.

CONSTRUCTION: Back and front are knit separately from the bottom up, with neck and armhole garter edges worked at the same time. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with 3-needle bind off. Sides are seamed.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include long tail cast on, German short rows, decreases, and 3-needle bind off.

GAUGE: 26 sts/34 rows = 4″ in stockinette on larger needles, blocked.
