Gliding Birds Mitts

Like a bird rolling around in updrafts, the Gliding Birds patterns play with cables and eyelets. Worked from the bottom up with both a tubular cast-on and bind-off, these mitts feature an easy-to-remember swirling pattern on the top of the hand and a cable on the wrist.

Yarn needed 170190, 210m / 186208, 230yds of fingering yarn.Sample yarn: 1 skein of Le Chat qui Tricote Fline (100% Merino superwash – 400 m / 440 yds & 100 g per skein), col. Amour.

• 2 small pieces (approx. 15 cm / 6) of waste yarn
