Conker Mitts

These lovely fingerless mitts were made with autumn in mind and feature a pretty fan stitch.

The original pattern was launched in 2017 and it has been revised and updated in 2026 for clarity and improved construction.

Use approx. 50g fingering weight/4ply yarn for the mitts noting that due to the nature of the stitch pattern they tend to look better in a solid or tonal colour.

The mitts fit an average size female hand (approx. 20cm diameter) – sizing can be altered by using different hooks sizes (guidance is given for this in the pattern. The pattern starts with a chainless foundation with ribbing worked using front and back posts before moving on to the main section.
