2001 Shawl

The 2001 shawl was inspired by the works of Ansel Adams, specifically the 2001 Engagement Calendar. Ansel Adams (190284) was an American landscape photographer known for his black-and-white images of the American West. Adams work is widely recognized and he remains one of photographys most-loved artists. I wanted the 2001 shawl to capture Adams mastery of black-and-white film and majestic mountain range artworks.
